I have actually been to the yard where Dante is stabled before so was very aware of what a lovely location it is to shoot. Even though Dante is a huge horse he doesn’t like wagons which typically went by as we were making our way down the road to the field for our first section. Once there, I had to give Sandra a leg up onto Dante and then assist by pulling off her socks at which time a bus went by – I though Dante was going to make a dash for it but Sandra managed to stay on and keep him calm. We got some great shots of them here, in the long grass before heading back to the stables and outfit number two which was a casual look with cowboy hat. I wanted to get some black background shots here but Dante wasn’t playing ball and putting his ears forward for me! This didn’t deter us – Dante hates donkeys and there happen to be one at the yard! So we just placed him in front and hey presto the ears were forward! For Sandra’s final outfit she chose to wear her dressage gear and we got some great shots of them using the yard buildings as the back drop.
