Gilly owns a 15th Century Tower House set in 900 acres of land in the Lake District, it was an amazing location to do a shoot! Penny and Darcy are two coloured cobs with Darcy being sire to Penny. Darcy has the most fantastic mane Ive ever seen! When I arrived at Gilly’s home, she introduced me to her array of animals including her parrot who flies freely around the house and who scared me half to death flying into the kitchen and perching himself on my shoulder! She also has a little terrier with only 2 legs, who shuffles around using her front legs to manouveure herself around, she was amazing to watch..and apparently has a fine set of wheels for when she goes out!
