Occasionally I can be asked to do photo shoots of horses which are ill, old or injured, this was the case with Amy and her horse Leo, she wanted some photographs as Leo had a leg injury and only had several weeks left before he was being put to sleep. Amy was a little camera shy and really only wanted photographs of Poppy & Leo, but for me my photography is all about capturing the the bond between horse and owner, and given Leo’s predicament I thought Amy would cherish the images of her and Leo together…here are a few images from the shoot. Rest in peace Leo, he was such a gent to work with 🙂 x
