Photographing Natalie and her beautiful horses turned out to be a very costly experience for me, as several months later I found myself on my way to Spain to buy myself a beautiful Spanish horse very similar to her horse Mambo!
Natalie is very lucky, not only does she have some stunning horses but she has her own stables and lots of land – so choosing locations to photograph them was simple, woods, buttercup fields and indoor barn – perfect!
We had decided to go with a “Spanish” style look for the shots with Mambo – the red dress with the black and green backgrounds complimented Mambo really well. Clare from www.harryjon.com did a great job with hair and make up – and making the dress fit!
After Mambo I photographed Lily, Mary & Ballerina, all Arabians – followed by Natalies pony Spirit – it was a full days photo shoot, with one of the only days of sun we had all year!
